QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
This FAQ answers the most common questions buyers and distributors ask about control arms — from what they do and what types are available, to how to order, minimum quantities, lead times, packaging and after-sale support. Every answer is drawn from product documentation published by Hebei Lingke Vientiane supply chain Co., LTD.
A control arm (also called an A-arm or wishbone) is one of the most important components in a vehicle's suspension system. Whether you are sourcing a single sample, placing a wholesale order, or evaluating a new supplier, the questions below address what buyers most commonly ask before and after placing an order with Hebei Lingke Vientiane supply chain Co., LTD.
For a broad selection of suspension parts, see the Premium Control Arm product page.
The control arm connects the wheel hub and steering knuckle to the vehicle's chassis or frame. When properly installed, it allows the wheels to move up and down independently while maintaining proper alignment. It also absorbs road shocks and vibrations, helps distribute the vehicle's weight evenly across the suspension, reduces stress on other components, limits excessive tire wear, and keeps the tire in optimal contact with the road — improving handling, steering response, and ride comfort.
The product range covers front upper and front lower control arms, rear (back) control arms, and full suspension control arm kits. Positions available include right-hand (RH), left-hand (LH), front, and rear fitments, depending on the specific part number. Materials used include stamped steel, forged steel, cast iron, and aluminum. All sheet-metal arms are protected with an electrophoretic electrostatic coating that resists rust and impact.
The product range includes fitments for Hyundai (e.g., i30, Santa Fe), Kia, Toyota (e.g., Crown, Camry), Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, GMC, Buick, Hummer, Chevrolet, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki, among others. Each product has its specific OE number — for example, OE 54501-2H000 for Hyundai i30, OE 48640-0N010 / 43620-0N010 for Toyota Crown, OE 48069-06230 / 48068-06230 for Toyota Camry, OE 54501-26000 for Hyundai Santa Fe, and OE 4M51-3A424-AD / 4M51-3A423-AD for Ford. Always confirm fitment by quoting the OE number when enquiring.
